Erica's Version: How RED Changed My Life 🧣
Hot flashes, red nights, and – apparently – fat season. Let’s discuss.
New here? Welcome to All Too Well, where I draw on my 20+ years of expertise in wellness and healthy living to bring you bits and bites of free info you can actually use: low or no-cost tips, light on the preaching, with a side order of musical wordplay. 🤗 Let’s dive in.

THE MAMMS AND THE PAPS
It’s both Menopause Awareness and Breast Cancer Awareness month, AKA be nice to ladies and their bits this month. It’s also probably time for a screening and time to address any unusual symptoms you’ve been ignoring. Here’s your short list of resources:
Breast MRI – greater visibility for anyone with dense breast tissue, can pick up on abnormalities that mammograms and ultrasounds can miss
HRT in your PJs – Alloy Health wrote the book on hormonal care via telemedicine. It’s never been easier to access these life-changing treatments and support.
Thinning hair? Tired skin? This is what red light was born to do. Find my favorite face mask and hair cap at Higher Dose and get glowing, baby.
Asking for a friend 👀: anyone have a GYN in the Mount Sinai system that they love? Reply to me directly! 🙋🏻♀️
THE NEW FEED
Fresh off the culinary catwalk, Whole Foods released their annual trend report this week, and among the superstars we should expect to see more of in 2026: more fat and more fiber. But you knew that already, right? As with any trend, a little moderation goes a long way: extra fiber on your plate is great, but go full fibermaxxinista on the real world runway and things could unravel fast. 💩
A MENO-PAUSE FOR REFLECTION
RED (ERICA’S VERSION)
Of all the tune-ups I share here, the one I never skip is tending to my sleep — hard-won after years of insomnia. It’s my proudest wellness win. And one non-negotiable in the battle between sleep and evil is RED. 🔴
Red light tells your brain it’s time to wind down and boosts melatonin naturally. The easiest way to flip that switch? Red-lens glasses an hour before bed. If you’re hanging with me past 9 p.m., you’ve likely caught me in my shades. I’m not trying to be the coolest cat at the party—I’m just tucking in my brain for the night. My favorites:
🕶️ These come in a range of tints, and you can even customize with your Rx.
If you’re not feeling the fashion, some other picks to sneak RED into your wind-down routine:
Book light: warm light is best for reading at night, and I love this HOOGA option
Red light district your bathroom: even 30 seconds of artificial light can disrupt your sleep cycle, so swap your nightlights for these by Loftie
🫶🏻 Happy weekend, all! (You knew I wasn’t getting through Taylor season without at least a small nod, right? Her eras are oddly relevant to the life of this showgirl )💃🏻💋

Great Tip on the Red Shades - Thanks Erica!
